If caught purchasing, possessing or using tobacco products, the Texas Tobacco Law states that anyone under 18 may face these consequences:

  1. Pay a fine up to $250
  2. Attend tobacco awareness classes
  3. Perform community service
  4. Kiss their driver's license goodbye for up to 180 days
